PRIDE CREATES DIVIDE

There are two types of people.

We hear this saying fairly often. It’s a common cultural idiom we hear a lot! The bible also does this. Scripture draws a comparison between two people and in Luke 18, our text for today, we find Jesus telling a parable about two very different people. And when you consider the crowd He was speaking to, it is shocking.

BLESSINGS IN BROKENNESS

Between bondage and blessing is the season of brokenness.

Most of us are in a season of brokenness but we keep everyone else on the surface. Or we post #BlessUp or #WontHeDoIt. Yes, have faith and believe in that blessing BUT don’t do that to the point you deny that sometimes... God allows real brokenness.

You need others to like you. It's hard for you to say “no” You apologize or accept fault when you aren't to blame. You're quick to agree, even when you don't really agree. Some of you will realize just how much of a people-pleaser you really are- But God has a way of freeing us from that.
