Psalms 133
1 How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
2 It is like precious oil poured on the head,
running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron’s beard,
down on the collar of his robe.
3 It is as if the dew of Hermon
were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
even life forevermore.
Romans 12:16-18
16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits.
17 Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest and proper and noble [aiming to be above reproach] in the sight of everyone.
18 If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Harmony is more than getting along—it’s learning how to grow together in Christ, even when we are different. Inspired by Romans 12:16–18, Harmony ‘27 is a women’s gathering centered on the kind of community God calls us to cultivate: one marked by grace, genuine love, humility, and a desire to live at peace with one another.
Each of us brings a unique story, personality, perspective, and gift. We don’t have to be the same to belong together. As we worship, learn from Scripture, pray, and share life with one another, we have an opportunity to grow in our love for Jesus and for the women He has placed around us.
Our hope is that every woman who attends feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged to grow. We want to create space for meaningful conversations, new friendships, deeper connections, and a renewed sense of belonging within the body of Christ.
Together, we hope to:
Grow in Christ: Explore what Scripture teaches us about humility, love, and pursuing peace.
Build meaningful relationships: Make room for women to connect beyond familiar circles and get to know one another more deeply.
Practice grace and understanding: Learn to approach differences with compassion, curiosity, and a willingness to listen.
Encourage one another: Share our stories, pray together, and remind one another that we are not walking this journey alone.
Cultivate lasting unity: Take what we experience together into our everyday lives, helping our church become a place where women are known, loved, and welcomed.
Harmony isn’t about pretending we always agree or that relationships are always easy. It’s about choosing to grow together, extending grace, and pursuing the kind of love and peace that reflect Jesus. Our prayer is that this gathering will be the beginning of deeper connections and a stronger, more caring community—one where every woman has room to belong and grow.
